Xmarton, a technology company specializing in hardware and software solutions for smart mobility, has entered into its first-ever direct partnership with an automaker. SsangYong Czech Republic and Slovakia is now offering Xmarton’s innovative technology as part of its optional equipment package, providing customers with an advanced digital vehicle management system accessible via a mobile application.
Starting in April 2025, the Korean brand SsangYong, which will be rebranded as KGM, reinforces its commitment to innovation and modern technology. With Xmarton’s integration, SsangYong (KGM) owners will gain access to advanced features such as real-time location tracking, an electronic logbook, intelligent vehicle status notifications, and remote vehicle control through a digital key for car-sharing purposes. The system also includes an advanced security feature that allows vehicle immobilization in case of theft.
“This collaboration marks a significant milestone for us. SsangYong is the first automaker to officially include Xmarton in its catalog, making our technology more accessible to a broader range of customers who seek smart mobility solutions. We are confident that this partnership is just the beginning of a broader adoption of our technologies,” says Jan Pešek, CEO of Xmarton.
Known for its SUVs offering excellent value for money, SsangYong (KGM) continues to bring modern and accessible technology to its customers.
According to Martin Murín, Sales Director of SsangYong (KGM) for the Czech Republic & Slovakia, this is a crucial step toward digitalization and vehicle modernization. “We aim to provide our customers not only with reliable vehicles but also with smart technology solutions that enhance their everyday driving experience. Xmarton is exactly the kind of innovation that meets the growing demands for smart mobility,” Murín adds.
